Hi, I’m Kim — the photographer and creative mind behind Broken Doll Images.

I specialise in photography that celebrates movement, individuality, self-expression and confidence. Combining my love of aerial arts, dance, vintage aesthetics, and alternative culture, I create bold and emotive imagery designed to feel both empowering and deeply personal.

Whether I’m photographing an aerial artist mid-flow, creating intimate boudoir portraits or working with studios to capture the energy of their community, my aim is always the same: to create images that feel authentic, striking, and unapologetically you.

I work from a selection of photography, circus, pole, and aerial studios across the UK, as well as carefully chosen outdoor locations that complement the atmosphere and storytelling of each shoot. For boudoir and creative portrait sessions, I also welcome clients to my home studio in Newport, South Wales — a warm and comfortable space featuring vintage-inspired décor, atmospheric lighting, luxurious textures, and carefully curated details designed to help you relax and feel at ease in front of the camera.

I know that stepping in front of the camera can feel vulnerable, especially if you don’t see yourself represented in traditional photography spaces. Creating an inclusive, collaborative, and judgment-free experience is incredibly important to me. My work is for people of all bodies, identities, genders, and experience levels — whether it’s your first shoot or your fiftieth.

I also work closely with studios, performers, and instructors to create professional imagery for branding, events, workshops, performances and promotional content that genuinely reflects the personality and inclusivity of their space.

Alongside photography, I love developing creative concepts with clients and helping bring ideas to life through styling, props, wardrobe and location planning. I have a growing collection of costumes, accessories and unique shoot pieces available to use, and I’m always happy to collaborate to create something personal.

Above all, I want the experience to feel just as memorable as the final images.
